• Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! My name is Jaro and I am a Wedding and Portrait photographer based in Belfast.

This site features my Wedding and Portrait photographs and also follows my personal life. I shoot weddings, families, kids and random stuff I like or clients ask. I post also pictures of my family, friends, our travels or any other projects that catch our eyes. This blog is also an information source for my current and potential clients.

    Thanks for visiting!

Niamh

Just a quick one for now... I took photos of Niamh's 1st Communion on Sunday. Special thanks to her parents for having us!! 1st Communion

Prints ready for framing

Me and my friend who is also a photographer Peter Azor are having a photographic exhibition at Hillsborough Castle. After Peter was given this opportunity, he asked me if I fancy to join in (I said Yes!) and share the exhibition space with him. Thanks Peter!

Today we met at his work and printed the photographs. Waiting for the prints was boring so we decided to collect few injuries trying to jump in the right time:)

Facebook Like button

Hi to (not only) Facebook users! I made a little improvement to my blog and added a Facebook like button to each post. You can now like it from the blog just as you are use to from Facebook. Hope you Like it!

Every morning:)

I walk pass this lovely church twice a day so I decided to take a snap. It's a Presbyterian Church and it's on my way to and from the train station. Such a beautiful tree that Monkey Puzzle!

In the Park

I did some test shots of my new flash today. We took Carmel to a park for a wee while and managed to do some photos.

I have been following/reading a lot of strobist blogs in the last year plus have watched few lighting DVDs on 'how to do it' and now I have to say I am really into a flash photography. These photos are taken with nice and new Canon 580EX II firing off camera, triggered by couple of Pocked Wizards. I am going to use this setup more often now as it is more portable than my Elinchrom flash. The last two are photos of my Cherri blossom girl:)Reminds me of AIR...

If you wonder why the colors are so vivid and rich - its all thanks to the lights. I did very little in photoshop, I only increased contrast and added some sharpening. I love, love, love my flash!
