Photography School with Jaro Kukucka benefits from one to one learning method providing individualized educational approach for each and every student in an engaging manner. Every lesson is followed by a homework that reflects the actual topic. At the beginning of the class students get feedback on the last homework.

Why do I need to learn - press the shutter is so easy

You probably have your own answer otherwise you wouldn't be here. I will tell mine. First reason is that taking pictures is not easy. Some people may say: 'I have never taken any lessons, I don't care about those apertures and shutter speeds I have my camera on auto mode I simply have a good eye and therefore I take a good photographs'. This is one of the common myths about photography. I'm not saying that not educated user can't take a good photo. But if your good photo is just a lucky coincident and you don't know how you did the good picture, you are not a good photographer. Only if you understand your camera you can repeat that good shot tomorrow when you need it. That is the main focus of the course: Get to know your camera to take a better photos.

Beginners or Advanced

If you are a beginner this course will take you through all the camera features and explain some of the rather complicated settings in a simple way. If you are an advanced user who regularly uses some of the manual features like ISO, Aperture and WB you will get deeper understanding of histograms, light meters, focal length and lots more. If you use Point and Shoot (Compact) Camera you will still get a lot from this course however the SLR users will get the most from it. If you don't own an SLR Camera yet and are thinking of buying but are confused by too many brands and types, after first 4 Lessons you will be able to decide which one is the best for you based on gained knowledge.

Schedule

Photography School is a 15 Lesson Course. The first part gives Complete Control of your Camera. The creative part brings the art into your photos and focus on how to interact with the object. The last part explain how to give the images the final look.



All lessons come with extra resources for you to take home and learn more about the topics covered. Each lesson comes with homework and exercises that you can go away and DO to make what you learn stick.

Photography School Investment

The lesson usually lasts between 1 or 2 hours depending on the topic. The fee is only £20/hour.
SLR camera is recomended but not essential.
